Who we are

At Finlay’s Upholstery, we’re more than just a business—we’re a family with a passion for craftsmanship. Our journey began in 2017 when I decided to trade in my 15-year career as a dog groomer for a new challenge. Watching my husband Chris invest in upholstery for his muscle car restoration sparked an idea, and before I knew it, I was apprenticing under a local upholsterer to learn the trade.

Two years later, Finlay’s Upholstery was born. Despite the hurdles of starting a business—especially during the challenges of COVID—our family came together, rolled up our sleeves, and built something we’re truly proud of.

Every member of our family plays a role in making Finlay’s what it is today. I personally design, fabricate, and sew each project with attention to detail. Chris specializes in foam modifications, construction, and polymer installation. Our son Brandon handles removal and reconstruction, while our daughter Caitlin assists with deconstruction, templating, and reassembly to ensure every project is restored to perfection.
